“The Perfect Workflow”
I found that the Wireframe exercises helped the most with the development of my web pages. By laying out the general location of my images on paper it allowed me to visually see and imagine how the website will flow. Also I enjoyed the Photoshop prototypes to play with color, alignment, and over all feel of the page.

Final Blog
Through out the year our CSS Web Site Design book was very helpful to me. I relied on this book to give me step-by-step instructions to help me design and develop a quality web site for my client. This book gave me the tools to design a site that’s both appealing and functional.
The tutorial movies on Lynda.com were useful as well. Although since the book had been right in front of me I was able to look at that for as long as I wanted, without rewinding and starting over.
Andy Clarke’s Transcending CSS book helps us see the different ways you can design a web site. This book has been useful to me this semester in the layout and design of my web pages. It showed me to make as may designs as possible to see what the best layout is for my client.
Some of Andy Clark’s technical information about CSS was useful but the book was not worth the price.
I have found that I have learned to-
- draw out site designs
- choose the best layout for the client
- how to take clients problems and fix them by new designs

Nadinne's Presentation
While attending Nadinne’s presentation I learn many ways to help enhance the development of my designs. She taught me to be creative while developing any projects. I began noticing this creative thought when she gathered us all in the front and back of the room to display which items were most important to people and then asked us why.
This exercise also taught me to prioritize my items; in web design this is very important. By keeping our most important links in plain view of our users it makes the site easy to navigate and user friendly.
Nadinne wanted us to voice our opinions about the subject matter at hand, she taught us to be bold. After thinking about how this could be related to web design I realized that bold web sites are the most attractive ones. Nadinne taught us to be bold with our ideas and to portray then onto the web.
The main focus in Nadinne’s presentation was community serves. This is a great way to help people, in our line of work we need to figure out a way to help people easily navigate our web sites. By creating an easy navigation bar we can make peoples experience on our site enjoyable.

Major Project 1
--“Brief”--
For our first major project I have decided to do a portfolio with all of my past works from the last 3 years. The purpose of this web site is to set up a portfolio to show possible clients how I have improved over my college career. The over all look of this website will be sleek and on the cutting edge of web design.
